Machine Development

Sometimes you aren’t quite ready to build the next world beating machine just yet. Sometimes what you have is an idea and you need to spend a little time in discovery. That’s where we can help with Machine Development. Our process includes Estimating, Concept Development, Proof of Concept, Machine Prototype, and Commercialization.

Estimating

We’ll review your application and make a budgetary proposal, including what the full process might cost to yield a commercialized first machine. However, one deliverable of each phase will be a concrete quote for the subsequent phase.

Concept Development

In this Brainstorming phase, we immerse ourselves in your application requirements to conceptualize assembly and machine level solutions that may solve your need. After identifying many possibilities, we’ll align with you about the ideas most likely to succeed.

Proof of
Concept

Also known as Benchtop Testing, this phase uses small prototypes to verify that concepts work as expected. Testing can be performed at your facility or ours, and once all critical subsystems are proven, the project moves to the next phase.

Prototype

Prototypes may vary in size, scale, or complexity, but all prove the machine’s functionality. Before starting, we’ll collaborate to define a successful demonstration that fits your budget and schedule. Then watch it come to life together!

Commercialization

This is your idea turned into production floor value! Using our Design/Build process, we’ll deliver custom food equipment tailored to your requirements, including product rate, size, safety, maintainability, and sanitary design.
